Terms of Use

Last updated 2 October 2026

About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the Major Incident Simulator, provided by The Pre-Hospital Classroom. By using the simulator you agree to them. Questions can be sent to thomas.downie@theprehospitalclassroom.co.uk.

Educational use only

The simulator is an educational and continuing professional development tool. It does not replace local Trust or service policy, operational guidance, or formal incident command training, and it must not be relied on to make decisions at a real incident. Scenarios, casualties and outcomes are fictional.

Access codes and accounts

  • Access codes are issued for the plan you purchased and must not be shared beyond the people that plan covers.
  • Instructors are responsible for the learner names they enter and for telling learners how their results are used.
  • We may suspend an access code that is being misused or shared in breach of these terms.

Purchases

Prices are the ones on the pricing page. Individual is £39.99 through card checkout. Instructor (£99.99), Training Provider (£249.99) and Organisation (£749.99) are one-off licences bought by contacting us until the shop lists those exact prices. Enterprise is quoted from £1,499 and is not charged online. The Individual licence is for personal training and is not for paid commercial training. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Acceptable use

  • Do not enter real patient information or details that identify people involved in real incidents.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the service, access other users' data, or copy or resell the simulator or its content.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the simulator available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the simulator outside its educational purpose. We do not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Privacy and governing law

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
